Here is a sneak-peek into Little One’s
nursery room. We decorated it a number of months before he was born. We decided
to go for a neutral colour scheme based around the ‘Bedtime Hugs’ range at
Mamas and Papas. Little One received many giraffe based gifts and toys and so
this has now developed into a mini-theme around the room.
The
first additions to the room were the cot-bed, changing table, cot bedding and
window dressings. The ‘Rialto’ Cot-bed and changing table are both from Mamas and
Papas. The curtains, mobile and cot bumper are from the ‘Bedtime Hugs’ range at
Mamas and Papas and the blackout roller blind is from Dunelm Mill.
Mummy and baby giraffe framed photograph purchased
in TKMaxx. This was a Chrstening gift from one of his aunties
The three white hearts feature three pictures from
our 3D scan of Little One at around 28 weeks. The frame was bought at The
Butterfly Rooms shop in Saltaire. The blue hearts I bought when I found out we
were having a boy.
The books Little One enjoys at bedtime at the
moment. We read ‘Goodnight Moon’ every night along with one other story. The
Little Tykes giraffe stacking rings are one of Little One’s favourite toys.
Embroidered laundry bag with an ‘F’ for Freddie.
This was a custom made gift and it is from The Butterfly Rooms, Saltaire.
Alphabet canvas with cute drawings for each letter,
from The Range. A bargain at only £4.99!
Another giraffe from his collection! This one is by
Jelly Cats.
The Lloyd loom chair is very comfortable for when
we feed him before bed and on it lives 3 toys: the large bear was one his daddy
gave me years ago, the small bear is one I got when I was very young, and the lamb was a
Christening gift from his Great Auntie in America.
A gorgeous little giraffe family. These were a gift from one
of his aunties who went on safari to Kenya.
The keepsake box holds three smaller boxes in which
you can put baby’s first curl, first tooth and their hospital name bracelet.
"Babies are teddy bears, rattles and pins, meals at midnight, giggles and grins".
