{The Ordinary Moments 15} #14 'Sharing Our Ordinary Moments'

I'm sure I won't be the only one to say what a busy weekend we have had. Easter has been and gone, the lovely long weekend is over and we have enough chocolate to keep us going for quite some time (although we have been very controlled so far and only eaten one small chocolate egg each!) I do love these long weekends where we all get a bit of time together at home, Mr F isn't dashing off to work and we can take life at a slightly slower pace. We definitely haven't had what I would call a 'lazy weekend'. Far from it in fact, but we have had some lovely moments together, and lovely moments with some of the family.

I shall we writing a separate post all about our long Easter weekend, because we did so many different things and I have so many lovely memories I want to document. But aside from the trips out, this weekend, we also shared some of most ordinary of moments with some of our various family members. On Saturday, we spent a lazy day at home with my sister in law (Hello Kim, if you're reading this!). She lives in Bristol so we don't get to see her very often, but it was so nice to have a whole day with her. We went to our favourite place for a lovely muddy walk  (something Mr F, LO and I do a lot), took lots of obligatory photos and had delicious homemade pizza for lunch.

We go on lots of walks around this stunning reservoir and have posed for many family photos at this spot before. It was lovely to be able to share it with my sister in law.

On Saturday evening, we went to see Mr F's parents and his Grandad. Little One loves going to his Granny and Umpa's house and always giggles constantly whenever we are round there. It was extra special though, in that Little One was able to spend time with his Great Grandad. I think he's so lucky to be able to know him, as not everyone gets the opportunity to knows Great Grandparents. I even posted a photo on Instagram of four generations of that side of the family together- definitely a photo to treasure.

Four generations of the Foster family.

On Easter Sunday, we shared another very ordinary part of our daily lives and had a lovely Easter breakfast with my littlest sister (Hello Coco!) and her boyfriend. It was something so simple but something we haven't ever done before and it made a lovely start to a whole day spent together at the seaside.

Enjoying some fun on the beach with Auntie Coco.

I will be doing a separate post in more detail about our Easter weekend, but even without the trips and days out and all the chocolate, being able to share these ordinary moments with some of our family made it a really special weekend.
