{Little Loves} Suits, Minty Green and A Desert Island

Being the nosey person that I am, I love reading everyone's Little Loves posts each week. It's a link up hosted by Morgana at But Why Mummy Why and I thought well seeing as I enjoy reading the posts so much, why not join in myself?

This week I have:

I am not into reading novels in the slightest. Even at school I didn't enjoy reading fiction books (why I did A Level English Literature I'll never know) and often preferred to read fact books instead. Nowadays, if I was to sit and read a book I'd be asleep by the end of the first page. Instead, I opt to read my favourite blogs in bed. This week, I have loved reading about what everyone got up to in April in the Me and Mine posts. I have also bought a copy of Mollie Makes Social Media, which I have read briefly, but am hoping to read in more detail over the next few days and hopefully pick up some much needed tips.

We have been catching up on this year's series of Bear Grylls' The Island. I was a bit sceptical at first, and found it gruesome but now I have got quite into it and love watching the alternate men's and women's island episodes.

And of course, we are still loving Suits. We have watched it from when it first started and still love it as much now.

I am in desperate need of a wardrobe update for spring/summer but because the weather can't make up it's mind about whether it's cold or warm, I find it hard to find the right clothes at the moment. I also didn't take a specific photo of an outfit this week so i am including my Me and Mine photo. I have lost weight recently and have been loving wearing a lovely soft minty colour jumper I got last year from Dorothy Perkins, it now fits me much better and I feel much better in it.

Little One is wearing a new navy Gap hoodie, yellow jeans by Mamas & Papas and yellow wellies from Mothercare.

The 3 leaders of the main political parties battling it out on the Question Time leaders debate. How boring do I sound? It was actually very interesting, the audience was quite entertaining and I learnt a lot. But in all seriousness, I think it's important to keep up to date on current affairs and make an informed decision about who to vote for on May 7th...
I am also a massive classical music fan and we always have Classic FM on in the kitchen on in the car. I find it has a very calming effect on Little One and on me too.

We have done a bit of baking again this week and decided to opt for something remotely healthy after indulging in so much chocolate over the past month. Little One loves being in the kitchen and helping out. We made these yummy banana honey oat muffins. They were really simple to make, and tasted really yum.

  1. What a lovely week you've had! I really enjoyed that Mollie Makes special, I thought it was one of their best yet. And I've got all the Island episodes saved up to watch - I loved the first series so I'm interested to see how it turns out!

  2. I'm beginning to feel like the only person in the world that hasn't read this Mollie Makes Social magazine ! And come to think of it, a lot of people have been talking about Suits, but I've never seen it. Must crawl out from under this rock and catch up! Xx

  3. That pic of the three of you is lovely, what gorgeous countryside too! Ha ha another one with a copy of Mollie Makes Social Media - I'm beginning to think it's the most photographed magazine ever! Have a great weekend! x

  4. Lovely to see you linking up! I am so glad I got y copy of that magazine a few weeks back, still yet to read it more thoroughly yet though! I love mint, and definitely love baking with my littles xx

  5. What a lovely week! The Mollie Makes magazine is really good isn't it? Though I still haven't managed to shut myself away and really make proper notes from it yet! So pleased that you've joined in with Little Loves. xx
