Ok, again not a book as I really am not into reading books at the moment, but I have been reading lots of reviews about different hotels on Trip Advisor. We have been looking at lots of different locations for possible holidays later this year. I am a bit of a sucker for reviews and can spend hours reading them and flicking through gorgeous photos of hotels. I will be doing a more in depth blog post about our little shortlist in a few days. Who knows, perhaps I might find a bit of me time on holiday to read a book or two.
We have finished watching all the episodes of Peter Kay's Car Share now and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It's great pre-bedtime viewing and it's great if you want to have a laugh. We also caught up on some of the semi finals and the final of Britain's Got Talent. In previous years, I have watched every episode and been glued to the series, but this year I sort of dipped in and out of it. I thought the Kanneh-Mason family of string instrument players were fabulous, it's a shame they didn't make it to the final because that there is true talent.
I purchased another pair of leopard print pumps- these are Carvela by Kurt Geiger and I love them! I'm a real casual wear sort of girl and these are perfect with jeans.
Something which just makes me smile from ear to ear is Little One's voice- both speaking and singing. His talking is coming along so well and he tries so hard to copy what people say. He is also really loving singing and will sing the Peppa Pig and Fireman Sam theme tunes (he can't say Fireman Sam so he will sing the tune if he wants to watch it). and joining in with the head shoulders knees and toes song on the new Specsavers hearing test advert on the radio which always makes me smile. Super cute.
Last Sunday Mr F made us the most delicious waffles with maple syrup, blueberries and strawberries. They absolutely filled us up until about 2pm. Aside from cooking, recently I bought Little One some pots of play dough and some plastic cookie cutters. He has been loving making little play dough 'burgers' and caterpillars and snakes out of play dough. I find it's a great activity to do at the kitchen table if you have a bit of time but don't fancy the mess and hassle that comes with paint!
I can't believe how quickly Blogtacular has come round! It's next weekend and I am so excited to be attending my first blogging conference! I am also super nervous but so looking forward to meeting some other bloggers in real life. Do say hello if you spot me! I am also really excited to see my sister who lives there as I'll be staying with her and hopefully we'll get a bit of time to go out together in London.
