I'm definitely someone who likes to make plans and get out and about- I can't cope with staying at home all the time and while we haven't been away anywhere exciting, we have had a few nice days out in the local area. I have enjoyed taking LO and Little L out and about during the week, mostly to soft play or to meet friends for play dates. We had a lovely Easter get together with our wonderful NCT friends- seeing LO run about doing an Easter egg hunt with all his little pals was one of the sweetest things ever. I have also started taking Little L to Rhythm Time classes with me on a Tuesday while LO is at nursery, and it's been nice to do something just the two of us together.
One of the nicest days in March for us was Mother's Day, my first one as a mummy of two. We made it into a bit of a surprise day out for my mum too, which was really special. As I write this, I am also looking forward to taking her on a special spa day and afternoon tea at the end of the month with my sister. It will be an extra special day for us all as it will likely be one of our last days out altogether before she heads back to France in a couple of weeks, having been over here in the UK for the winter.
Another highlight of the month was when I headed down to London on the train with Little L to meet up with the lovely ladies from Mark Warner and the other Mark Warner mums for afternoon tea at the Capital Hotel in Knightsbridge. I was really nervous to take Little L on the train and across London by myself when he was only 9 weeks old, but it worked well and it was such a lovely occasion. I had to pinch myself that I was amongst such wonderful bloggers and I still feel on cloud 9 about us being chosen as Family Ambassadors for Mark Warner.
I know I say it a lot, but I can't believe another month has passed by and we have now been a family of four for 3 months. March has felt so much easier than January and February, and I am really hoping that spring might arrive properly soon, and that April will spoil us with a few more days of sunshine.
I think these bright, daffodil photos are some of my favourite Me and Mine photos so far. The bright yellow colours just radiate happiness and make me look forward so much to spring.
