Petits Trésors Jewellery Review & Giveaway

Choosing and wearing a piece of jewellery is something which I think is a very personal and special thing. Bar my engagement ring and wedding ring, I tend not to wear much jewellery on a day to day basis, just because it's not part of my routine. But when I do wear it, I love for it to be a special or statement piece, and for there to be a story behind it- be it the ring I was given by Mr F for my 21st birthday, a statement necklace chosen for me by my sister for my birthday or the most delicate personalised necklace engraved with the names of my two baby boys which they gave me for Mother's Day. Every time I wear those pieces of jewellery, I am transported back to the moment I received it, and each one tells it's own little story- no matter how much or how little it cost.

I absolutely love receiving jewellery as a gift, and especially personalised jewellery. One of my most treasured pieces is the delicate little necklace my boys gave me this year- two interlocking silver hearts set on the end of a little chain, and engraved with their names. I smile with pride every time I wear it and will treasure it forever.

With my love for personalized jewellery, I was thrilled when the French designer jewellery company Petits Trésors got in touch to ask if I'd like to choose a piece of jewelry from their extensive collection, and to get engraved.  Created in 2006, Petits Trésors has been one of the forerunners in the online sale of personalised jewellery in France. Each one of their pieces is designed in their Lyons workshop by their jewellery designers. Each piece is assembled by hand and engraved with a diamond tipped tool.

After browsing their beautiful collections on the website, I decided to opt for the Gold Plated Circle Rainbow Charm Bracelet. I loved the simplicity of the design and the way you could completely personalise the design yourself, from the colour of the metal (I opted for gold, but silver is also available), to the colour of the silk cord, the engraving and even the font style.

I was really impressed with the choice in their bracelet collection with many different designs to choose from, from bead styles to leather bands and delicate chain styles too. They also do a wide selection of personalized necklace designs and also fun pieces of jewellery for children and men too, including a collection of beautiful personalised cufflinks.

When my bracelet arrived, I was delighted by the packaging it arrived in- delicately wrapped in tissue and a little cotton dust bag. It most definitely had the feeling of a quality product. The bracelet I chose was gold plated with grey silk cord and my initial thoughts were that it was well made, nicely engraved and beautifully simple.

As I said earlier, I don't wear jewellery on a daily basis, but I have worn my new bracelet so much recently, and every time I have had such lovely compliments about it. I absolutely love it and love having my boys' names engraved on another piece of jewellery. It's something I'll most definitely treasure for years to come.
