What the Boys Wore {ft. Next}

 When it comes to clothing for Little L, I'd say his wardrobe is probably a 60/40 split of clothes which have been passed down from LO (the majority of which have stayed in a really good condition as he just wasn't a fan of being messy in the slightest!) as well as other new pieces which we've specifically bought new for him. After all, they suit different colours and styles to each other but overall, the fact they were born in different seasons has meant it's been harder to match up the right sized clothes for Little L according to the time of year. He's also quite a bit bigger than his older brother was at the same age. Trousers can be a bit of a nightmare as they're often too tight around his waist but too long. So recently, I decided to have a much needed clear out and felt that Little L was in need of a little wardrobe update...

One of my favourite places to find really nice clothes for the boys is Next. There's always lots of choice of different styles, colours and something for all sorts of occasions. I'm a big fan of bright colours on the boys and Next have had some really sweet items in their Winter and Retro Brights collections. The striped cotton top is bright and bold and I love the flannel appliqué details.

In two years, I've probably put Little L in jeans just a couple of times, mostly because they're not the comfiest against his sensitive skin, and unless they have a stretchy waistband, they tend not to fit around his tummy. These little jeans are absolutely perfect for him though, and it means he doesn't have to wear joggers or leggings all the time. The waistband and ankles are elasticated, and the denim is really soft too. I love the little dinosaur and truck details too. It's the perfect outfit for him to wear day to day out and about, and as always, I have been really impressed with the quality and price of the clothes.

Thank you to Next for sending us these items. All content is my own.
